She was predeceased by : her parents, Lloyd Isham and Wyna Isham; and her husband Jess. She is survived by : her children, John Johnston, Juli Wilhite (Rod) and Jay Hightower (Debbie); her grandchildren, Shane Johnston, Jana Johnston Dalman (Jerrod), Joshua Johnston (Heather), Bessie Johnston Hoffman (James), Kara Wilhite McElya (Danny), Kyle Wilhite (Shana), Bryan Wilhite (Brittney), Hollis, Hallee and Harper Hightower; and her great grandchildren, Brooke, Blaine Henry, Deegan Dalman, Brylee, Breanna Johnston, Kelli, Jake McElya, Kyeler, Logan Wilhite, Hope, Fayth, Coltyn Wilhite, Kensington, Leighton, Ellington Wilhite, Esne, Dustin and Weston Hoffman.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home (2800 Paramount Blvd, Amarillo, TX 79109). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Coulter Road Baptist Church (4108 Coulter St, Amarillo, TX 79109).
