He is survived by: his wife Patricia Rivera Rios; his children, Mariana Mayoral, Damaris Mayoral, Jose Mayoral, Cynthia Lopez (Rios) and Robert Rios; his mother Martha Morales Romeo (Ruben Romero); and his brothers, Carlos Roberto Rios (Renee "Piki" Rios) and Jose Marino Rios (Kristin). He is also survived by numerous aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
