With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roque Antonio Sanchez of Midland, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 8, 2026 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his son David Sanchez; his parents, Roque Sanchez and Soledad Sanchez; his siblings, Enrique, Raul Sanchez and Beatriz Sanchez; and his nephew Sergio Sanchez.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Sanchez; his children, Juan Antonio Sanchez and Carina Sanchez of Midland; his grandsons, Alonso Isai Sanchez of Midland and Andrew Jaden Sanchez of Alanta; and his siblings, Luciano Sanchez of Andrews Tx and Norma Catalina Vargas of El Paso.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Pipkin Funeral Home (2508 N Big Spring St, Midland, TX 79705). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at 7:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (1401 Garden Ln, Midland, TX 79701).
