She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaston Bonds (Violette Newgen) and Violette Bonds; her husband B. L. Young; her sister Lanelle; and her brother-in-law John Adams.
She is survived by: her children, Linda McLaughlin (Steve) of Midland and Kelly Young (Joella) of Bulverde, TX.; her grandchildren, Emily Young, Daniel McLaughlin (Claire), Cutty Young, Stephanie Olsen (Ryan), Rachel Stitzel (Jed), Margaret Rhoden (Nathan), Tess Overholt (Cullen), Ashley Woolsey (Leon) and Marilyn Vogelsang (James); and her great grandchildren, Samantha, Penelope, Sawyer, Julia, Cassandra, Olivia, Camila, Riggs and Neil.
