She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Lee King and Lena Chesshir King; her brother Bob King; and her siblings-in-law, Marie King, Lois King, Virginia Lamay, Grace Brooks and Kent Brooks.
She is survived by: her husband Harold Don Brooks; her sons, Kenneth Brooks of Albuquerque and Kelly Brooks of Austin, Texas; her grandsons, Geoffrey Brooks of Austin and Oliver Brooks of Lubbock, Texas; and her brothers, Thomas King (Suzie) of Andrews and Dwayne King (Joanna) of Rogers, Texas.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their spouses, many cousins, and faithful friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel (3800 N Big Spring St, Midland, TX 79705).
