She was predeceased by: her parents, James Marvin Copeland and Mattie Lola Copeland; and her son Jimmy Thomas. She is survived by: her children, Carol Thomas, Michael Thomas, Gail Thomas Pfleger (Bob), Kay Thomas Moore (Bill), Johnny Thomas, Rachael Thomas Gates (Kendall), Margaret Thomas and Mark Thomas. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
