He is survived by: his wife Maria Salazar; his children, Maria Salmeron (Richard), Caesar Salazar (Norma), Shirley Moore (Anthony), Laura Mota (Edward), Gilbert Salazar Jr. (Viola) and Javier Salazar (Nelda); his granddaughter Kristina Alvarado; and his sister Bernadine of New York. He is also survived by several other grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
