She was predeceased by : her parents, Jesse Aaron Hightower Sr. and Eva Pearl Hightower; her siblings, Jerry Hightower and Barbara Earl Hightower; her nephew Corey D. Hightower; and her grandson Brock Starlin.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Brittani Herford, Breshard Walton, Braylon Stoglin, Arianna Perkins, Alaysia Perkins, Amaya Perkins, Azaria Perkins, Akayla Perkins, Bryce Starlin and Braxton Starlin. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
