With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Johnson in Midlothian, Texas, who passed away on May 19, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Brooks Johnson and Viola Elizabeth Northcutt; his son Kenneth David Johnson; and his siblings, John Johnson (Jean), Kathryn Sue Greer, David Johnson and Danny Johnson.

He is survived by : his wife Nellie Ruth Johnson; his children, Mary Renea Thigpen (Danny), Roy Wayne Johnson (Raquel) and Teresa Kay Dunaway (Jason); and his grandchildren, Roderique Courson, Kenneth Johnson, Jacob Dunaway, Brandon Thigpen, Dustin Thigpen, Mia Johnson, Leesa Courson, Jamie Dunaway and Sarah Michelle Courson.
