She was predeceased by: her parents, JC Teague and Fannie Teague; her husband David Taylor; and her sister Sonja McLemore. She is survived by: her children, Sharlyn Birdwell (Tokey) and Sharissa Thompson (Philip); her sisters, Brenda Kenyon and Becky Simmons; her grandchildren, Tanner Birdwell, Jabe Thompson and Jacelyn Thompson; and her great grandchildren, Nova Birdwell and Coleman Thompson. She is also survived by extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Cowboy Church of Ellis County (2374 U. S. 287 Access Rd, Waxahachie, TX 75167). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at the Mt. Peak Cemetery (1760 FM875, Midlothian, TX 76065).
