She was predeceased by: her parents, Joaquin Pena and Carolina Flores; her husband Pedro Ortiz; her sons, Mike Ortiz, Toney Ortiz and Pedro Ortiz, Jr.; and her siblings, Frank Pena and Dora Desidere.
She is survived by: her daughters, Wanda Thrash (Mark) of Fort Myers and Elisha Hickman (Claude) of Milam; her sisters, Irma Luevano, Stella Samarripa, Lydia Torres, Cecilia Luna, Ana Santos and Pat Perez; her grandson Ruben DeLuna; her great grandchildren, Jordan Gallion-Ortiz and Gavin Arabie; and her great great grandchild Asuna DeLuna.
