With heavy hearts, we announce the death of JoAnne ColdIron of Milano, Texas, who passed away on May 31, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Mittie Anne Haddox Burgess; her husband Bobby Coldiron; her father Woodrow Burgess; her siblings, Woody Burgess and Patsy Moody; her parents-in-law, Alton and Eunice Coldiron; her brother-in-law J. R. Coldiron; and her son-in-law Arvin Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Charlotte Jones and Randy Coldiron (Missy); her grandchildren, Jennifer Ivins (Terry), Chance Coldiron (Alexis), Mikey Coldiron (Melisa), Eric Jones (Kelsey), Mandy Clanton (Daniel) and Robert Reese (Jacqueline); her siblings, Jimmy Burgess (Delaine) and Vivian Collier (Johnny); and her sister-in-law Mary Beth Burgess (Joyce Collins). She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home (1041 US-79, Rockdale, TX 76567-4513). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sand Grove Cemetery (8636 Co Rd 322, Milano, TX 76556).
