He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Herbert Ceal; his parents, Fred and Evelyn; his sister Floy Lidiak; his parent-in-law Arnell Ceal; and his brother-in-law Jim.
He is survived by: his wife Margie Chitwood of Minden; his daughters, Janice Simpler (Edward Lynn) of Temple and Jamie Biles (Stephen) of Victoria; his grandchildren, Jacob Cook, James Cook, Benjamin Biles (Beck), Grant Biles and Lauren Biles; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Miller, Clydie Flores (Eddie) and Ted Lidiak. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
