He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Simonek and Mary Simonek (Fleischmann); his wife Peggy Sutton; and his brothers, Tommy and Eddie.
He is survived by: his sons, Christopher and Joseph; his grandchildren, Dalton, Bailey, Emma and Waylon; his great grandchildren, Augustus and Kip; and his sisters, Theresa, Mary (Delbert) and Jane (Doug). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Beaty Funeral Home (5320 TX-37, Mineola, TX 75773). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. Peters Catholic Church (203 Meadowbrook Dr, Mineola, TX 75773).
