He is survived by: his wife Betty Eckman Hanes; his children, Brenda McCord (Walt) of Uniontown, OH and Jeffrey Hanes (Micki) of Big Sandy, TX; his daughter-in-law Mary Ellen Hanes of Jacksonville, FL; and his brother Paul Hanes (Carol). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
