She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edwin Shipp and Helen Lenore Shipp; and her daughter Jamalyn McCully. She is survived by: her husband Tom Jackson of Mineola; and her son Edward Lee Jackson (Jennifer) of Richmond. She is also survived by four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
