She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Arthur and Elizabeth Sams Janes; her husband Charles Batchelder; and her sister Sondra Lougee. She is survived by: her children, Philip Batchelder (Bobbi) of Warrensburg, IL, Stanford Batchelder (Lisa) of Mineola, Patricia Cullison (Dennis) of Hawkins and Nancy Batchelder of Mineola; her grandchildren, Christy (Kenny), Mike, James, Chris, Steven, Jacob (Annie), Megan, Emily, Elizabeth (Nace), Allie Jo and Christian (Karly); and her adoptive children, Shana Burge of Mineola and Jay Mattson of Mineola. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home (300 Holley St, Alba, TX 75410).
