He was predeceased by: his wife Lila Rose Garrett Nelson; his father Robert Pendergrass; and his grandparents, Jeff, Juanita Pendergrass, Grady and Mary Bonner.
He is survived by: his mother Wanda Pendergrass; his sister Vickie Pendergrass; his son Corey Pendergrass (Leanne); his grandchildren, Samuel and Audrina; his son Chad Pendergrass (Amanda); his grandchildren, Parker, Maverick and Collins; his pet Oscar; his stepdaughter Mary Slaton (Charles); his stepgrandsons, David and Josh of Florida; his uncle Don Bonner (Tina Bonner); and his cousins, Mark, Gregg and Brooke.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Christian Church (209 N Pacific St, Mineola, TX 75773).
