She was predeceased by: her parents, Encarnacio Cerda and Epifania Cavazos; her husband Oscar L. Ochoa Sr.; and her sons, Omar H. Ochoa and Octavio R. Ochoa.
She is survived by: her children, Oscar L. Ochoa Jr. (Elena), Orlando N. Ochoa, Orville J. Ochoa and Olivia I. Ochoa (Stuart Tom); her grandchildren, Liza I. Oakes, Santiago N. Ochoa, Bianca B. Ochoa and Rian O. Ochoa; her great grandchildren, Isaiah Omar Ochoa and Santiago Roman Ochoa; and her siblings, Lesvia Peralez, Dora Rodriguez, Amelia Vela, Aurora Olivarez, Rafael Serda, Elia Silva, Emma Gonzalez, Reynaldo Serda and Reymundo Cerda. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
