We announce the death of David Crook of Mission, Texas, born in Paris, Texas, who passed away on October 1, 2026, at the age of 75. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathryne Crook and Robert Crook; and his brother Bob Crook. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Martin Crook; his son Daniel Crook (Joanna); his granddaughter Marnie Crook; his aunt Myrna Foster; his sisters-in-law, Tory Crook and Mary Dale Newsome (Kenny); his nephew Tom Crook (Heather); his great-niece Rebecca Crook; his great-nephew Caleb Crook; his niece Elizabeth Crook Hunter (Mark); his great-nieces, Emily Hunter McCown (Rush) and Laura Hunter; his niece Laura Fulbright (Jonathan); his great-niece Julia Fulbright; and his nephew Scott Dudley (Jessica).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Brown Family Funeral Home (701 E Interstate Hwy 2, Mission, TX 78572). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Brown Family Funeral Home (701 E Expressway 83, Mission, TX 78572).
