We announce the death of Franicsca F. Guerra of Mission, Texas, who passed away on September 28, 2026, at the age of 91. Franicsca will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Flores and Rafaela Flores; her husband Manuel Guerra; her daughter Dora E. Dufur; her siblings, Ruben, Lucio, Juan, Zoila, Estella and Melchor; and her sons-in-law, Reynaldo Cordova and Jose C. Hernandez.
She is survived by: her children, Estella Cordova, Manuel Guerra Jr. (Esther), Esmeralda Arevalo, Tony Guerra (Greta), Leticia Hernandez, Ismael Guerra (Cynthia), Maggie Salinas (Horacio), Veronica Garza (Romaldo), Jessica Guerra (Pedro III) and Rolando Cordova (Rita); her siblings, Nilda and Emilio Flores; and her grandchildren, Priscilla Clark, Aaron Arevalo, Amanda Cox, Luis, Joshua Guerra, Rebecca, John, Chloe, Erica Guerra, Stephanie Funes, Sabrina Hernandez, Desiree, James, Shelby Dufur, Jackie, Michael, Justin Guerra, Alejandro, Brandon Salinas, Romaldo Garza Jr., Ryan Salinas, Katie, Drew Guajardo, Riley and Romeo Cordova. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Virgil Wilson Mortuary- Mission Tx (2200 N Conway Ave, Mission, TX 78572). A rosary was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (620 N Dunlap Ave, Mission, TX 78572). A burial was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Lord & I Cemetery- Palmview Tx (1203 E Goodwin Rd, Palmview, TX 78572).
