He was predeceased by: his parent Gene Keyes Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Betty Keyes (Deal); his wife Kathy Keyes (Starkey); his children, Gloria Green (Chris), Christopher Keyes, Heather Kimble (Johnathon) and Gene Keyes II; his grandchildren, Joshua "Caleb" (Vanessa), Deavain, Payton, Brayden, Eva, Gabriella, Penelope Rose, Cameron, Madalyn and Jamison; his sisters, Frances Wilson and Katrina Szilaj (Botond); his siblings-in-law, Edward Starkey (Karen), Ruth Alkire (JD), Mary Bryan and Evelyn Lloyd; and his close friend Jeff McGoye (Liz). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family.
