It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacinto Hernandez Olvera (Mission, Texas), who passed away on June 10, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rafael Hernandez and Enemecia Olvera. He is survived by: his wife Benigna Gonzalez Hernandez; his children, Jacinto Hernandez Gonzalez, Evaristo Hernandez Gonzalez, Maria N. Hernandez Gonzalez, Oralia Hernandez Gonzalez and Enedina Hernandez Gonzalez; and his siblings, Juan Hernandez, Andres Hernandez, Mario Hernandez, Clara Hernandez, Maria Felix Hernandez, Rosa Hernandez and Pifania Hernandez. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the San Martin de Porres Catholic Church (621 W Main Ave, Alton, TX 78573). Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rivera Funeral Home (1813 N Conway Ave, Mission, TX 78572). A rosary will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
