He was predeceased by: his mother Lucina Rios; and his wife Maria L. Gutierrez. He is survived by: his father Rafael Gutierrez; his children, Janie Gutierrez, Mary Lou Garcia (Jonathan) and Gardenia Perez (Cristobal); and his grandchildren, Martin Mejia Jr., Saydahli Mejia, Alesain Mejia, Maraya Garcia, Nathan Garcia, Nicolas Garcia, Elias Gutierrez, Timothy Saenz and Omero Perez.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Servicio Funebre/ Funeral Service (3611 N Taylor Rd, Mission, TX 78573). A burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Valley Memorial Gardens (3605 N Taylor Rd, Mission, TX 78573).
