He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe McAfee and Jimmie Frances Washington; his brothers, Albert "Cakee" McAfee and Delbert "Ray" Thompson; and his daughter Jamie.
He is survived by: his significant other Tracy of Monahans, Texas; his children, Quincy McGee (Michelle) of Abilene, Melissa Oranday of Albuquerque, Kent Lee of Abilene, Alfreda, Constance McAfee of Ironton, Rontu Walker of Odessa, Jalin Smith (ToKosh) of Carrollton and Jadah Smith of Alpine, Texas; and his siblings, VJ Willis, Ida Berry of Monahans, Texas and Frank Dornel Lane (Dixie) of Killeen, Texas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
