She was predeceased by: her parents, Josefa Navarrette Fuentes and Domingo Estorga Fuentes; and her brother Gabriel Fuentes. She is survived by: her husband Ruben Contreras; her son Phillip Contreras; and her siblings, Eva Santiago (Tony), Jenaro Fuentes (Pamela), Carmen Fuentes (Joseph Hendriex), Domingo Fuentes Jr., Andress Fuentes and Johnny Fuentes (Kristen). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.
Viewing was held on Sunday, February 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Harkey Funeral Home (210 S Allen Ave, Monahans, TX 79756). A rosary was held on Sunday, February 8th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, February 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St John Evangelist Catholic Church (500 S Ike Ave, Monahans, TX 79756). A burial was held on Monday, February 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Monahans Memorial Cemetery (400 S Helen Ave, Monahans, TX 79756).
