He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernesto Flores and Rosita Treviño Flores; his wife Genevieve Flores; his daughter Yvonne Flores Mondell; and his siblings, Maria Feightner, Jose Antonio Flores, Ernesto Flores, Concha Farley and Emily Baese.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Flores Hernandez (Rhonell Hernandez) and Janice Flores McCrohan (Bill McCrohan); and his grandchildren, Kelli Valenzuela (Jesus Valenzuela), Natalie Rojo (Jonathan Rojo), Brenna Mackey (Jared Mackey), Monica Mondell and Ryan Flores. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and a host of extended family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Harkey Funeral Home (210 S Allen Ave, Monahans, TX 79756). A rosary was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St John the Apostle & Evangelist Catholic Church (500 S Ike Ave, Monahans, TX 79756). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 12:15 PM at the Monahans Memorial Cemetery (400 S Helen Ave, Monahans, TX 79756).
