He was predeceased by: his father Gaylord Murton; his wife Josephine Kinsey Smith; his daughter Christie Weddle (Garry); his grandchildren, Arnold Nall, Raxton Jones and Camryn Allridge; his mother Mauberdine Smith; his sister Joyce Speed; and his sister-in-law Mary Temple Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Sabra Smith, Julie Ramos (Freddie), Allen Smith (Beverly), Pam Rogers (Greg), Jeff Smith (Ginger), Mary Nall (Bruce), Heather Collins (Larry) and Justin Smith (Kristin); and his siblings, Cathy McCoy (Ronnie) and Gene Smith. He is also survived by grandkids, great-grandkids, nieces and nephews.
