He was predeceased by : his parents, Foy Bucy and Sue Bucy; and his wife Vickie Bucy. He is survived by : his children, Robert Bucy (Hazel) of Snyder, TX, Rhonda Sutter (Johnny) of Snyder, TX and Vicki Steele (Travis) of Roswell, NM. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home (3101 College Ave, Snyder, TX 79549). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Monahans Memorial Cemetery (400 S Helen Ave, Monahans, TX 79756).
