She was predeceased by : her father William H. Wheaton; her former life partner Louis Pierro; her husband Ralph McClanahan; her daughter Rita Pierro Mitchell; her son-in-law Billy Mitchell; her grandson William Shane Mitchell; her great grandchild Cheyenne Summer Mitchell; and her siblings, C. W. Wheaton, Dena, Sarah, Mattie Mae, Johnnie and Edna (Totsy).

She is survived by : her daughter Sandra Pierro McAfee (Dave); her sister Roxie Wheaton George; her brother-in-law Richard McClanahan (Linda); her grandsons, Cody Mitchell, Jeff McAfee and Casey McAfee (Kayla); and her great grandchildren, Christopher Ryan Mitchell, Casey Mitchell, Liam McAfee, Stella McAfee and Lorelei McAfee. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
