She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucille T. Sperling and Homer L. Thompson Sr.; her husband Joseph Edward Hofman; and her granddaughter Jennifer Eve Randes. She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Gale Willmoth of Texas and Evelyn Ruth Heyde of Texas; her brother Homer L. Thompson Jr. of North Carolina; and her granddaughter Dawn Elaine Hall.
