He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Soose (Fratila) and Jack Frank Soose; his brother-in-law Loyd Smith; and his parents-in-law, Henry George and Vivian Elvera Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Marie Soose; his children, Jacqueline Shawn Cruson (Robin Garrett Cruson) and Jordan Smith Soose (Ashley Erin Soose); his grandchildren, Jenna Renee Soose and Jensen William Soose; his sisters, Jaqueline Hanson, Joan Bullmer and Gina Field (Larry Field); his nieces, Jill Simon (Hanson) and Polly Hanson-Grodsky; and his siblings-in-law, Henry Albert Smith (Elizabeth Smith) and Wanita Vera Smith.
