It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy May Penney in Montgomery, Texas, born in Great Bend, Kansas, who passed away on May 17, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Grace Ellen Fish Dalton and Theodore Layton Harvey; her husband Roy Watson Penney; her children, Michael James Penney (Carolyn Penney) and Deborah Rose Roberts Geddes (Wayne Geddes); her grandchildren, Jonathan David Penney (Katie Penney), Kimberly Renee Alley (John Alley), Joshua Charles Roberts and Nicole Rose Kindred; her stepgrandchildren, Michael Wayne Geddes and Kristen Lauren Rohde (Billy Rohde); and her great grandchildren, Caroline Alley, Charles Alley, Brendan Penney, Owen Penney and Madison Penney.

“Nancy was such a lovely lady. She was so cheerful and kind to Jim and me. We always enjoyed visiting with her at after church lunches, gatherings at Deborah and Wayne’s, or being able to unexpectedly join them at Baytown Seafood. She is already missed.
