He is survived by : his wife Carla Archer Gumfory; his children, Dr. Kathryn Mancini (Brian) of Borger and Garrett Gumfory (Mika) of Gruver; his sister Kaye Griffis of Lubbock; his nephew Brad; his nieces, Alexis, Lisa, Amanda and Ashley; and his uncle Charles Johnson of Lubbock.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Christian Church (510 King Ave, Gruver, TX 79040). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
