He is survived by: his parents, Jose Manuel Ponce and Cecilia Gaytan; and his siblings, Jessica Lopez of Levelland, Michelle Ponce of Morton, Texas, Javier Lopez of Levelland, Alan Lopez of Morton and Jose Ponce of Lubbock, Texas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ellis Funeral Home - Morton (218 E Washington Ave, Morton, TX 79346). A rosary was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church (105 NE 8th St, Morton, TX 79346). A burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Morton Memorial Cemetery (650 TX-214, Morton, TX 79346).
