It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce A. Lyon of Mount Calm, Texas, who passed away on April 28, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Pearson and Ola Pearson; her husband Charles Dean Lyon; her sister Virgie Pearson; and her grandson Justin Dean Lyon.

She is survived by: her children, Lesa Williams (Mickey), Melissa Mitchell (Rusty) and Jeff Lyon; her grandchildren, Colby Lyon, Travis Flanary, Gabi Greene (Cody Coffman), Mariah, Thomas Kilbride, Emily, Wyatt Wilson, Sarah, Willie Lathers, Branna Brock, Caleb Deike, Shelby Bergman and Lydia Lyon; her great grandchildren, Nellie Lyon, Tyson, Tatem Kilbride, Aria Deike, Easton, Everly Wilson, Callan, Carsynn and Camdynn Lathers; her sisters, Hazel Miller and Peggy Brown (Buddy); her sisters-in-law, Janice Morgan (Charles), Sharon Burnett (Max) and Karen Rankin (Dazell); her friend Ann; and her pets, Sammy and Scratchy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
