He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Bill Anderson Beard, Sr. and Shirley Beard (Traylor); his son Triston Pippins; and his daughter-in-law Angelica Beard. He is survived by: his children, Terry Beard (Carmen) of Mount Pleasant and Jalisa Simmons (Mason) of Longview, Texas; his grandchildren, Anterius Beard, Jr., Paris Beard, Terrelle Beard, Terrence Beard, Russel Beard, Bryan Simmons, Chase Simmons and Myles Simmons; his great grandchild Avencia Raine Beard; his siblings, Tanyel Williams (Robert) of Daingerfield and Corey Shaw of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; and his aunts and uncles, Eva N. Abron of Dallas, Maudie Peters of Cason, Texas, Herbert Coats of Dallas and Bobby Wayne Peters of Longview, Texas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Gilmore Baptist Church (412 MLK Blvd., Mt. Pleasant, Texas 75455).
