It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claud Henry Markham of Mount Pleasant, Texas, who passed away on March 1, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Claud shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Claud farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Crit Markham and Ima Irene Markham (Cox); and his wife Melba Evans. He is survived by: his former wife Barbara Tolleson Thornell; his daughters, Pam (Craig Danner), Kim (Steve Forrest) and Charlotte (Ron Elson); his grandson Cody (Nicole Danner); and his great grandchild Kolten.
