He is survived by: his children, ChiQuita Rousseau (Robert Rousseau) of Kilgore, Texas, Harold "Jay" Hooks Jr. of Longview, Texas and Kishanna Smith of Longview, Texas; his grandchildren, Ja'Mia Hooks, Julius Hooks, Braylen Ellis, Onesha Rhodes, Leslie Walker, Rudy, Gabby Williams, Gabrielle, Allyson Atchley, Alasia Criswell, Za'Caidyn Weathersby, Meranda, Taylor Ellis and Namora; and his sisters, Ruby Jewel Minter, Ruby Faye Bell (Aunt Sandy) and Doris Gray. He is also survived by nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
