He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Edwards and Pauline Edwards (Sinclair); and his sisters, Martha Cates, Mary Jo Holmes and Edna Hunnicutt.
He is survived by: his wife Myrtle Anne Edwards; his daughter Deborah; his son-in-law Tony Morgan; his daughters, Sharon French and Karen; his son-in-law Paul Reel; his grandchildren, Elizabeth (Tom Marr), Catherine Morgan, Hannah Morgan, Ben French, Nate French, Caroline Reel, Issac (Hannah Reel), Olivia (Zachary Tomlinson) and Jacob Reel; his great grandchildren, Alesandra Marr and Rowan Tomlinson; and his sisters, Barbara (Jim Alford), Shirley (Danny Moore) and Linda Sansom.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bates Cooper Sloan Chapel (2805 S Jefferson Ave, Mt Pleasant, TX 75455). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
