He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Burnett and Grace Lucille Burnett. He is survived by: his wife Maria Burnett; his children, Grace Marie Burnett, John Edward Burnett and Hillary Nicole Burnett; and his siblings, Sharon Cook, Tammy Burnett, Elaine Burnett, James Burnett and Jackie Burnett.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Curry-Welborn Funeral Home (2256 N Edwards Ave, Mt Pleasant, TX 75455). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Curry-Welborn Funeral Home Chapel (2256 N Edwards Ave, Mt Pleasant, TX 75455).
