He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Aubrey Roberts and Vera Sue Wilson Roberts. He is survived by: his sisters, Yvonne Sue Mizell, Nellie Marie Luce and Deborah Easley; his wife Marcella Ruth Roberts; his daughter Michelle Raymond; his son-in-law Timothy Raymond; his son Learon Shawn Roberts; his daughter-in-law Shannon Roberts; his son Cody Ray Roberts; his grandchildren, Cassi Crane (Thomas Crane), Cheyenne Allen, Shelbi Burrows (Roddy Burrows), Hunter Roberts (Savannah Roberts) and Dakota Roberts; and his great grandchildren, Kylee Ayn Allen, Jase, Maxton, Emma Ruth Crane, Everett, Wylie Jo Burrows and Russell Learon Burrows.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bates Cooper Sloan Funeral Home (2805 S Jefferson Ave, Mt Pleasant, TX 75455). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the New Beginnings Baptist Church (21 County Rd 1350, Mt Pleasant, TX 75455).
