She was predeceased by: her parents, Vern Easley and Hazel Easley (Cameron); her husband Huey Joe Crooks; her sister Alease Robertson; and her brother-in-law Dickie Crooks.
She is survived by: her son Jason; her daughter-in-law Christy Crooks; her daughter Deann Crooks (Michael Vaught); her grandchildren, Lauren, Andy Crowley, Gary, Amber McClinton, Joshua, Brittany Sowels, Caleb, Lydia Sowels and Ashlynne Vaught; her great grandchildren, Kennedy Sandlin, Ashton Hollis, Atlas McClinton, Isaac Ates, Aubrey Sowels, Sebastian Sowels and Xavier Sowels; her brother Vanoy; and her siblings-in-law, Kathy Easley, Jerry Robertson and Anna Ruth Dyke. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bates Cooper Sloan Funeral Home (2805 S Jefferson Ave, Mt Pleasant, TX 75455). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Bates Cooper Sloan Chapel (2805 S Jefferson Ave, Mt Pleasant, TX 75455).
