We announce the death of Mary Sue Fuller of Mount Pleasant, Texas, born in Mount Vernon, Texas, who passed away on October 4, 2026, at the age of 87. Mary will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Hargrave and Carrie Hargrave (Moore); her husband Elvirn Fuller Sr.; her children, Eric Fuller, Meletha Fuller and Marilynn Fuller McKinney; her grandson Jonathan Jeffery; her siblings, Opal, Billie, Freddie, Climmie, Douglas, Richard, Bessie, Georgia and Windon; and her mother-in-law Florine Lindsay Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Fuller Woods, Elvirn Fuller Jr. (Ida Mae), Earnest Fuller (Dureen) and Monica Fuller Dixon; and her siblings, Jimmie Hargrave, Glendon Hargrave (Edna) and Virginia Faye Hargrave. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Tumey Mortuary (611 N Gibson Ave, Mt Pleasant, TX 75455). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Sheppard Street Church of Christ (502 Sheppard Rd, Mt Pleasant, TX 75455). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
