He was predeceased by : his parents, Robin F. Slaughter, Jr. and Minnie Florence Slaughter (Benefield). He is survived by : his wife Peggy Bell (Patschke) of Mount Pleasant, Texas; his brother Larry; his sister-in-law Lana Slaughter of Mount Pleasant, Texas; and his nephews, Todd (Stefani Slaughter) of Mexia, Texas, Brad Slaughter (Wade Slaughter) of Mount Vernon, Texas and Cody (Tara Slaughter) of Winnsboro, Texas. He is also survived by five great-nieces and four great-great nieces, as well as other extended family and friends.
