With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Myrtle Lading of Mount Pleasant, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Myrtle left this world on February 22, 2026 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Myrtle may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Myrtle touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan R. Zeigler and Roberta F. Zeigler (Lilly); her daughter Brenda Kay Rogers; and her siblings, Ronald M. Zeigler and Linda Kay Zeigler.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Bathe of Mahomet, IL, Mona Eddy (Mike) of Pana, IL, Suzanna Flesner (Lyle) of Shelbyville, IL and Rebecca Navarro (Salvador). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.
Memorials in Myrtle's honor may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Christ Tabernacle, Herrick, IL and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
