She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Douglas Alexander and Billie Joyce Harris Alexander; her husband Gary Lee Mathis, Sr.; and her sister Peggy Alexander. She is survived by: her son Gary Lee Mathis, Jr. of Longview, Texas; her sister Linda; and her brother-in-law John Thomas. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
