He was loved and cherished by many people including: wife: Patti Shaw; parents: Grady and Gertie Whittle Shaw; sons: Jeffrey Shaw (Andi) and Bradley Shaw (Brandy); sisters: Michelle Winn, Gail Shaw, Jeanett Cox, Blenda Hammonds, and Martha McGregor; brother: Gary Shaw; brother-in-law: Henry Hammonds; grandsons: Brady Shaw and Hunter Devine (Bleu Crow); granddaughters: Dixie Crow and Emily McLeroy; great-granddaughters: Blakeleigh Shaw and Denym Shaw; great-grandchildren: Paisley Penny, Maci Penny, Mason Pipkins-Devine, Royce Devine, and Starlie Brown; other: Wayne Best; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and coworkers.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home Chapel (2805 S Jefferson Ave, Mt Pleasant, TX 75455). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at the Center Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked to donate to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
