We are sad to announce that on August 17, 2025, at the age of 89, Bobbie Mills of Mount Vernon, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Bobbie leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Alan Sanders and Clara Estelle Robison; her spouse Jerry Mills; her son Mark; her son-in-law Tommy Nix; her siblings, Jimmy and Patsy; and her pet Chloe.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Nix of Justin, TX and Julie Hoover (Scott) of Hurst, TX; and her daughter-in-law Judy. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home (409 N Kaufman St, Mt Vernon, TX 75457). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Vernon City Cemetery.
