He was predeceased by : his father Charles Max. He is survived by : his wife Shelly Dawn Riley; his children, Cody Thomas Dewitt (Jenna) and Jaqueline Louise Riley; his sisters, Karla Gentry and Allison Crosslen (Steven); and his grandsons, Korbyn Mullins, Kaleb Dewitt and Logan Dewitt. He is also survived by two nieces; two nephews; one aunt, and numerous relatives and friends.
